Do you bill insurance?
Our practice does not accept insurance plans, and it is only private pay.
I accept HSA, debit card, Venmo, and credit card payments. I require a credit/debit card to be kept on file. We do not accept checks or cash. I am happy to provide you with a monthly digital "superbill" document to submit to your insurance company at your request. I cannot guarantee that your insurance will fully reimburse the cost of our sessions, I encouraged you to call them and ask prior to scheduling.

What is a superbill?
Superbills are a form that a client can submit to the insurance to get reimbursed for services they have received. On a monthly basis, Hanan Counseling Services, LLC will provide you a Superbill form(s) which you may submit for reimbursement for all services you have received during that month.
You should be aware that insurances may not reimburse you if you do not have an out-of-network benefit. They may also only reimburse part of the payment. Please note that you will continue to be responsible for the full fee at the time of session. I encourage you to contact your insurance prior to scheduling to ask about your out-of-network benefits.
-
Are you an out-of-network therapist?
For those insurances that our practice does not accept we are considered out-of-network. You are able to utilize your out-of-network (OON) insurance benefits. We suggest you call your insurance and ask about your out-of-network benefits.
Some of the helpful questions to ask insurance provider:
Do I have out-of-network, outpatient mental health benefits?
How much does my plan reimburse for an out-of-network provider?

Do you provide crisis services?
You should understand that when using telehealth, you are not in person with your provider and that your provider is less able to physically assess your needs. Your provider will not always be available via telehealth, so it is not equipped to be used for crisis. Please note that your provide will be required to be able to visually see you throughout the session.
If your provider becomes unable to determine your ability to stay safe during your telehealth sessions, they reserve the right to no longer allow you to participate in telehealth sessions, refer you to an alternate level of care, or help set you up with additional services to better meet your needs.
